Azim, an Afghan refugee, who works at the municipality at night, lives in Tehran along with his family. He finds out that his mother is in dire need of a kidney transplant, or she’ll die in 2 months. However, he discovers that Iranians are not legally permitted to donate their organs to foreigners and that leaves him as the only candidate. Now, he has to choose between his own life and his mother’s whom he had always claimed as the most important in his life…
